At the invitation of the Institute of World Economics in Budapest, Dr. Jakša Puljiz delivered a presentation on the topic “EU Cohesion Policy, Regional Convergence, and Lessons for the Future.” The presentation was part of the workshop “Regional Convergence and Competitiveness in the EU,” held on November 26, 2024, in Budapest. In addition to Dr. Puljiz, presentations were given by Alison Hunter, Senior Advisor at the European Policy Centre in Brussels; Marzenna Weresa, Professor at the School of Economics Warsaw; and Tomáš Dudáš, Dean of the Pan-European University in Bratislava. The event was moderated by István Benczes, representing the host institution.
