IRMO representative at the scientific and expert workshop “The migration transition in Croatia: current state and perspectives”

On Monday, October 27, Hrvoje Butković, Scientific Advisor to the Department for European Policies, participated in the panel discussion “Bridging the labour market gaps with foreign workers: who builds the future of the Croatian economyˮ which was held as part of the scientific and expert workshop “The migration transition in Croatia: current state and perspectivesˮ. This three-day event was held in Zagreb and was organized by the Ivo Pilar Institute of Social Sciences and the CS Innovation Hub from Zagreb. The panel discussed the position of foreign workers in the structure of the Croatian economy, the challenges facing foreign workers in individual sectors, as well as the possibilities for further development of the national migration policy.
